This Limited Release Series Chocolate Art 'Moon Cakes' Bouchées Series is an ‘East-Meets-West’ collection that is custom designed and hand-crafted for the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival celebration. Inspired on the Taiwanese ‘Pineapple Cake’ with its soft cookie and cooked filling, our version is crafted using modern French based chocolate-making techniques. The Chocolate 'Moon Cakes' Series features a dough component, a novel buttery fruit-vegetable-spice filling as well as a creamy layer of baked vanilla custard. And lastly, a single origin cocoa bean to bar soft dark chocolate ganache. The multi-texture ‘Moon Cakes’ are enrobed in dark chocolate, decorated with an embossed disc of almond paste hand-painted with cocoa butter colours. This Collection is packaged in our exclusive Limited Release Wild Sweets® FoodArt photo-graphic art custom print gift box sleeve showcasing an illustration of the moon cake pattern and features the following assortment of filling paste flavours;

Serving/Storage: Due to the egg custard filling, the Mooncakes must be stored in the fridge at all times for up to 2-weeks in a sealed Ziplock-type bag to prevent flavour transfer. We suggest removing the Mooncakes from the fridge about 20-minutes before serving to allow them to reach the perfect serving condition (temperature, texture and aroma).
