This Plant Based Composed Chocolate Verrine Dessert is our version of "Haute Patisserie" desserts that offer very similar taste and texture of traditional desserts, but all made with pant-based ingredients only (no eggs, cream, butter, gelatin, etc.) so Cholesterol Free! We apply the same 'constructivism' and scientific approach to our food design processes resulting in desserts that have distinct 'new' taste and textures!

This dessert features a chocolate cookie crunch texture with the addition of in-house roasted Cameron cocoa nibs and roasted peanuts for additional texture. The custard pudding is made with oat ‘milk’, banana puree, 100% peanut butter and set with arrow root into a very ‘creamy’ texture. A compote of dried mangoes, golden raisins & fresh lime is added next followed by a strawberry oat ‘milk’ btb chocolate ganache.

Each elements of the composed dessert are designed to provide a different mouth-feel sensation and contrasting textures. The ingredients for this dessert includes the following;

  • Cookie: almond flour, plant based margarine, brown sugar, cocoa nibs, roasted peanuts, flour, cocoa powder, salt

  • Custard: oat milk, banana puree, peanut butter, organic cane sugar, arrow root powder

  • Compote: mango puree, apple juice, dried mangoes, organic cane sugar, golden raisins, fresh lime juice + zest, pectin, gellan gum

  • Ganache: btb dark chocolate, strawberry puree, oat ‘milk’, maple syrup, plant based margarine

  • Crunch: cocoa nibs, shredded coconut, maple syrup, olive oil, organic cane sugar

Servings: Single dessert sold in a recyclable container

Serving/Storage: This dessert is sold 'Frozen' but we offer the option of 'Ready-To-Eat' with minimum 24-hours notice. If you would like us to condition this product, select the 'Ready To Eat’ box before adding to cart. When purchased 'Frozen', product can be kept in that state for up to 6-weeks (-18°C / 0°F). For best results, thaw in fridge for a few hours, overnight is best. Once thawed and/or purchased 'Ready To Eat', product must be stored in the fridge at all times and consumed within 48 hours. We suggest to remove dessert from the fridge about 10-minutes before serving to allow dessert to reach the perfect serving condition (temperature, texture and aroma).
