This East Meets West Cake is inspired on popular Japanese flavours and/or desserts yet crafted using European techniques and/or ingredients. This cake is based on the popular Japanese 'Dorayaki' dessert featuring the cake (dorayaki) and red bean filling (anko) but in different forms.

Specifically, the cake includes the following layers;

Crunchy peanut chocolate praline cream mixed with crispy crêpe flakes base

Light Japanese 'dorayaki' style cake infused with a passion fruit / espresso punch

Japanese sweet anko (adzuki red bean paste) cremeux cream

NY Style cold set vanilla anko cheesecake with a touch of yogurt

Elegantly finished with a chocolate and roasted peanuts 'Rocher' coating, handcrafted sculpture décor entirely made of dark chocolate and French macarons. Branding tag is not edible.

Servings: 2-3 servings depending on portion size. Cake is 3" x 3" x 2.5" (H - not including decor) ) / 350g

Serving/Storage: This product is finished fresh to order and must be stored in the fridge at all times. Best consumed the same day as purchased / up to 48 hours.

For best results, use a hot (run under hot water tap and towel dry) thin blade knife to score-cut the rocher glaze first. And then follow the score cuts to cut through the rest of the cake.
